1. Always remove door panels to prevent peeling
2. Rear interior trim may also need to be removed.
3. Use a quality window cleaner along with a glass safe scrubber or a fine to medium steel wool.
4. Use a lint free window towel (WORK BEST)
5. Tools you will need a hard plastic rib squeegee & (one with an angle cut), rubber squeegee, heat gun, 9mm olfa knife with snap blades, a marker and a (clean) squirt bottle.
6. Have a razor blade handy as well to remove and glues from the glass. (Never scrape a rear window with a defogger!)
7. Never use steel wool on mirrors.
8. When all panels are removed, and glass is clean you are ready to prep your tint for installation.
9. Roll down a window and leave about an inch or so gap. Lay a piece of film on the window, (liner side should be facing you) make sure you leave enough to work with.  You can run the knife along the top of the window that will give you a nice even clean cut. While it is in place with your marker make marks along both sides of the glass against the frame. Also measure the gap and add it to the bottom edge of the tint then add another 1"or 2.
10. You should use another glass surface to cut your film on, a big piece of safety glass works best!
11. Finish trimming it to fit, and then use your squirt bottle with just a little bit of soap in it to allow positioning of the film. Spray the inside of the window and use your rubber squeegee to clean the glass (helps to remove any sediment left on the glass).  Then respray it again. Then go to the tint and remove the liner and spray it well with your soapy water.  Bring it carefully to the window and try not to crease it. Put it into place and work it with your hands. When it is where you want it, use your rubber squeegee to work out the water, go middle to top and then to bottom. Use your hard angle squeegee to do the side edges.  Once water is removed use your heat gun to and hard squeegee to work the edges.
12. Now you're ready to put the panel back on.
13. Rear window takes a while to do, same thing mark your window edges cut the film spray a lot of soapy water on the window and lay your tint on the glass liner out.
14. Mastering the heat gun technic to shrink the film takes a lot of practice. Work out all the fingers in the film until it is flat like the glass.
15. Once film is ready prep the glass the same way and carefully bring it into the car and install on the back window, same technic applies.
16. Most important thing to have, time and patience!
17. If all else fails, let a professional install it. (Good luck)
